Introducing Lucky Charms
With new weekly draws, PixelSweeper prizes, and more.
Stackers, today we’re announcing the upcoming release of Lucky Charms on Monday, June 13 at 10 AM UTC. This is a FREE companion collection of 5,000 adorable 3D characters who will be your tickets to a new and exclusive draw to win a PixelSweeper every week.
To go along with this big release, your Lifetime Tickets will also be upgraded to give you access to a second weekly draw to win another PixelSweeper.
That’s right. We’ll be having two weekly draws every Friday for twice the fun, starting on June 17. One draw will be for your Lucky Charms, and one for your Lifetime Tickets, each giving you a shot at winning a PixelSweeper! And both draws will be from minted NFTs only, so the earlier you mint, the higher your odds of winning.
We already have 46 PixelSweepers in our vault, enough to run double draws for 23 weeks*, and we’re running regular sweeps of the PixelSweeper floor to add more prizes to our vault, which you can check out here.
*Update: Since this was published, we’ve added 14 PixelSweepers, bringing our total to 60, enough to run double draws for 30 weeks.
Not Another Boring NFT Collection
If you’ve been with Sweet Stacks for a while, you know that we don’t like to do things by the book. We always keep things honest and fair, but we also like to do things differently, and this release is no exception.
Our new collection has a wild and exotic history. It began life on Ethereum in early 2022 as one of the most hotly awaited collections called Squiggles. Then news came out that the people behind the project were, in fact, serial scammers. A YouTube video by Coffeezilla exposing the group racked up over 850K views. Soon after, OpenSea delisted Squiggles, the team went dark, and the project was abandoned.
This is where we come in. Sweet Stacks has given back to the victims of NFT rugs in the past. And as we learned more about this story, its victims, and the surprisingly beautiful art that was left behind, we saw the potential for a great redemption story. So we decided to try and salvage the entire collection and give it a new lease of life, under new management, on BNB Chain.
To compensate the victims of the defunct Ethereum collection, we’ve set aside tickets to be airdropped to any legitimate minter who files a claim before Sep 1, 2022 using this form.
But we’re not simply rebooting the old collection. We’ve worked with an artist to make a few improvements, and we’ve also reshuffled the entire collection to thwart any sniping attacks during the minting process. So Lucky Charms will be true to the original but unique in its own way.
Four Ways to Get Lucky
- Retroactive Airdrop: If you’re a current ticket holder, you’re eligible to receive 1 Lucky Charm for every 10 Lifetime Tickets you’ve ever minted, provided that you still hold those tickets. For example, if you minted 50 Lifetime Tickets and sold 10 so that you’re now holding 40 tickets, then you’d be airdropped 4 Lucky Charms on June 13 for free. Tickets won or purchased on the secondary market are not eligible for this airdrop.
- Minting Tickets before June 13: Every 10 tickets you mint between now and June 13 will also be eligible for the above mentioned free airdrop.
- 8-Hour Whitelist: On the day of release, minting lifetime tickets will be paused, and whitelisted addresses will be able to mint Lucky Charms on our site directly for the mint price of 0.02 per ticket (0.2 BNB in total) and receive 11 NFTs in total: 10 Lifetime Tickets and 1 Lucky Charm. Golden ticket holders are automatically whitelisted, and more whitelisting opportunities will be announced soon.
- Public Minting: Following the 8-hour whitelist period, anyone will be able to mint Lucky Charms on our site for the public mint price of 0.022 BNB per ticket (0.22 BNB in total) and receive 11 NFTs in total: 10 Lifetime Tickets and 1 Lucky Charm.
Get Lucky with Gold
Last but not least, with Golden tickets nearly minted out, we’re announcing an exclusive new weekly draw for Golden Ticket holders to win 1 Lucky Charm, with the first draw set for Wednesday June 15 at 6:00 PM UTC, and later draws set to take place every Monday at 6:00 PM UTC.
At the time of this announcement, you can still get 1 Golden Ticket for every 5 Lifetime Tickets you mint while quantities last.
